Hey everyone, it's about that time again when my computers starting to slow down. I've put together a list of components already but the only thing I haven't decided on is the graphics card. I plan on getting a R9 290, not a 290x. I was trying to decide between these three.

My primary use is gaming. I wanted to know which one has the best price for performance. Temperatures are not a big concern because in the future I may put it under water. One other thing I want to know is which one has the most OC'ing potential? Are there any other cards I should be considering? I was going to get the sapphire r9 290 but it went up in price and now is unaffordable to me. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

GPUs of the same board are for the most part all the same. just get the cheapest one/one with the best warranty. your links are bad btw but i dont need to see them.

Also you cant pot a computer in water?! do you mean oil?

The three I was looking at were the XFX, MSI, and GIGABYTE R9 290s. I think the XFX has the best warranty I think and is also the cheapest. And I just meant I was going to put a water block on it, it's my first time water cooling my PC. I'm also going to try and make the water block myself instead of buying one as I'm pretty good with things like it. The only thing that worries my about the XFX is the VRAM isn't Hynix VRAM from what I've heard. Is this something I should take into consideration?

some people say alpida doesn't oc as well. some say its fine. i wouldn't worry about it. if you are get one of the others. the arguments over which card is pedantic and not really worth the worry IMO.

As far as I know, toxic 290 has the best overclock potential, but costs significantly more. If you can get hynix memory, you should as it will mostly likely put you in an impressive 1800 memory clock. All of these cards are similar regardless, so I would agree with you: xfx will do!

One last question, it's kind of off topic though. Do you happen to know of any good pumps for around $50-$60? Thanks, the answers have been very helpful.
