Underclock = More Durability?

hi my pc is usually just downloading if i under clock my graphic card will it help durability of card and less energy consumption??

i have 7750 it has a normal gpu clock of 800 and 1125 for memory

i can underclock them to 400 - 500 should is change voltage?

You could, changing the voltage is really the only way to actually affect power consumption. You aren't really going to increase the longevity of your card by any noticeable amount though. What will allow it to run longer and better is keeping it cool and clean. So dust it a few times a year and add some more fans or an after market cooler.

Like your CPU, your card draws only what it needs .... I use a "kil-o-watt" meter on my PC to display power draw 24/7. When browsing I pull like 113 watts.... running Furmark, I get into mid to upper 700s.
