Hello there,

I have a strange issue with the following drives. I have 2 HDD and 1 SSD
1TB (WD Green - 64)- Win 7 (MBR)
250 GB - Suse + Win 7 (MBR)
SSD - Win 7 (GPT) (Firmware up to date, through Intel Utility)
MSI 970A G46 (BIOS up to date)

UEFI has been enabled in the Mobo and if I start my SSD under UEFI mode it works fine. If I have either of the other 2 hard drives connected, I get "Windows is loading files" 2 times and then it boots from the HDD. The same issue occurs if I manually choose the Boot sequence from the Menu. Once the drives are disconnected. the SSD loads fine. The other 2 drives boot in harmony. The only difference I see are the 2 HDD are Sata 2 and my SSD is an Intel 530 Sata 3. I have tried to mix and match the SAta ports with the same results.

If I change the boot sequence to the HDD it boots fine, just not from the UEFI SSD.

Has anyone encountered this issue before ?

I don't think Windows 7 fully supports UEFI booting, that's a Windows 8 feature for fast boot and secure boot.
