Like the title says, when I try to download certain things to my hdd it says "there was an error writing to this disk" something along those lines and when I try to open things saved on my hdd they don't work properly, like certain games will start up then crash etc. itunes won't open it "this version of itunes has not been correctly configured" and when I try to open league of legends it says "unspecified error has occured" I think it started when I used ccleaner to delete all the duplicate files on my pc, I have a ssd setup with my os and some other things on it, and a hdd with everything else. There are things on my hdd that open fine still.

Try CheckDisk from Control Panel.

Run an anti virus scan eg Avast (free download)

I ran chkdsk on both storage divices + seagate disk check all with no issues, I'll see if avast pulls up anything.. never had a virus do anything like this.

You might also need to run System File Checker: sfc /scannow in command prompt and also check your RAM with MemTest86.

windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations, virus scan 80% done with nothing found yet, running out of ideas.
