Win7 IE11,system & Chrome
In the folders at this address:
c:`Windows\system32\config,systemprofile\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\tempintfiles\content ie5/

there are a lot of files with differing numbers etc and differing dates.

Can I delete these ? and why does DiskCleanup not clear them ?
Thanks
Charles

You can delete all temporal files; system, user or internet explorer temp files as well as those of any web browser... Disk Cleanup should delete them or at least have a setting you can use to delete old temps, and if it doesn't, switch to CCleaner... You can also delete them manually typing "%temp%" and "temp" to open the system temp and user temp folders and delete or shred the files manually. You can also delete Internet Explorer temp files from Control Panel \ Internet Options.
