I am new to the computer building game and am trying to build a computer that can play most games on the highest graphic settings. I don't know every component I will need, and I want to make sure the computer will last me for a good amount of time. So far, these are the parts I have put together using PC part picker at the recommendation of a friend
CPU - Intel core i5-4670k 3.4 ghz processor
CPU cooler - corsair h60 54.0 CFM liquid CPU cooler
Motherboard - ASRock z87 extreme 6 ATX LGA1150
Memory - corsair XMS3 (2x4G) DDR3-1600
Storage - Samsung 830 series 128G 2.5" SSD + Samsung spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200rpm internal hard drive
Video card - MSI Radeon R9 280X 3G Twin Frozr video card
Case - NZXT Phantom 410 white ATX mid tower
I know I need more parts like the power supply, case fans, and an optical drive, but like I said, I am new at this and would greatly appreciate any comments or help so I can get the best performance without breaking the bank. I am willing to consider different parts for the most part, but I really like the case and would most likely get it. What can I do to maximize this build and make sure I have all of the parts and cooling necessary?
