Secondary Drive - Slow Access !!!

Hi,
I have two hard drives, primary is the Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Blue and the secondary is Seagate Barracuda 2TB.

The secondary drive (seagate) is very slow to open. The wheel spins for about 5 seconds or more and then the hard drive is accessible.

it sounds like the Seagate had went ot sleep and needed to spin back up. Go into windows power options and set the drive to never spin or power down.

Strange... do as popatim said, and if that doesn't fix things, there might be an issue with the drive. Run chkdisk to be sure.

'cuda's should be fast though... It's not like you are using a WD Green, which spins down to save power when idle.
