I need a wifi router to go with plusnet with a range of 300 metres. What is available in UK for around £100

I am looking for a wifi router with range of 300 metres plus to run plusnet. I have looked at many adverts but there are no guarantees with range in these products. I have no experience of these things and would welcome some advice on the subject.

There's no way you're going to get 300m out of a typical WAP, especially not in a congested area. You might with a directional antenna on one end, and probably if you had one on each end. What's it for?

You can't really guarantee wireless range; it depends on too many factors.

Thanks for your reply.

Router would be in a wooden building about 4 metres high to cover about 40 caravans, all situated in one direction away from the building.

Alexander - there is no such device. Plan to provide WAPs close to end users (e.g. within 20-30m), and hire reputable company to plan and execute that project.
