Opinions on Radeon R9 270X and Which one to get?

So I'm planning on purchasing a R9 270X but I wasn't sure whether I should or not considering my current card is a R7 260X I think the performence will improve alot however I need some other opinions on the R9 270X including what model I should get, Pros and and Cons and will it decrease the temperature my R7 260X is giving out if I play the games at the same settings as I am currently playing with the R7 260X? THx!!!!

I'd recommend the Gigabyte version of it. Their windforce cards are known for having great airflow. If you wanted to spend a bit more I'd recommend going for the 760:

i agree, with the 760 you will have a 10-15% more performance.if you cannot spend more the 270x its very good also.
if you plan to use more than 1 monitors or to play in more than 1080p take this

The 2 gig 760 should be enough for a dual monitor setup, if your just going to use the secondary screen as a web browser etc.
