Can a overclcoked GTX 780 have the same performance as a GTX 780 Ti

If you happen to be lucky enough to get a GTX 780 that overclocks a lot, can it have the same performance as a stock GTX 780 Ti in gaming?

Possibly, but that would require one hell of an overclock since the 780Ti has more CUDA cores.

And your ignoring the overclock potential of the 780Ti.
CUDA cores mean nothing when it comes to gaming unless you have PhysX enabled, I think the 780 is lacking SMX cores compared to the 780Ti.

The only overclocked GTX 780 that I know of that comes close to the 780 TI is the ASUS ROG Poseidon. That gets on average 2-3 fps lower than the GTX 780 TI, so close enough to the same.

I rather doubt a stock GTX 780 would be able to OC high enough to reach a GTX 780 TI. But it's not really necessary, as a GTX 780 is strong enough anyway.
