Absolutely any recommendations wanted.

i5 4670K + Noctua NH-U12S
ASUS DirectCU II GTX 780 Ti
G.Skill Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz 2x8GB
ASUS Z87 Pro
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD
Corsair CX Series 750W
Samsung 18x DVD-ROM drive

I'll only be using this for gaming so I know I'm not going to be needing a 4770K.

Currently, the only reason I'm choosing the ASUS Z87 Pro motherboard is because of the automatic overclocking feature it has but I think I will probably be able to do it manually, even if it will be my first time doing it.

If anyone has a better recommendation for a motherboard that is better for overclocking that is in the region of £250 then I would probably go for that instead. I won't be doing extreme overclocking since I'm only using air cooling but I would like to be able to hit around 4.4-4.6GHz, if my chip allows for it.

I don't care about onboard audio since I've got an external soundcard. I will need to buy a wireless card, though. I might be able to push my budget to allow for that as well as a decent motherboard if it's worth

I would really like some help on choosing RAM, though. I'm not sure if it's worth getting 1866MHz for gaming. I could probably get a cheaper 1600MHz kit and use XMP profiling if it has it. I can't find a solid answer saying if RAM speed affects overclocking much.

Hi. That is a solid parts list. Some may qustion your choice of PSU, but haven't heard of any issues with it ( The CX series; the CS series is questionable though ). I am using the same Motherboard and it is a good one. You have WiFI with that board and it includes an antenna. Your ram is fine. You will have to OC it to get that spped as it will run at the native 1600mhz until you do ( I have the same memory, but 2133 Mhz ).I have my Processor OC'd to 4.6 Ghz. I am running the 4770k, but as for performance, not much if any difference. The 4770k has HT and that is about the only difference.

the i5 4670K is great, I have it, and trust me, you won't be dissapointed...about the RAM, I would get a normal 1600MHz one, the difference between the two is not visible at all, maybe a little, but not sth major....for the PSU I wouldn't go with the cx series, don't get me wrong, corsair is one of the top PSU manufacturer but the cx series is their budget line so they are more likely to fail.....other than that I think the rest is good...the samsung evo is a great choice, I also have it, but if you have more money I would go with the 250GB one.
About the ram, here you can see the comparison between the 1866 and 1600 MHz: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/bulldozer-ddr3-overclocking,3209-10.html

Yeah, the reason I went for the Z87 Pro over the Maximus Hero is because of the WiFi and antenna.

What cooling are you using on your 4770K and how does it compare to the Noctua UH-12S?

If I do decide to change the PSU I would definitely down-grade the RAM to make up for the loss.

I don't really have the extra cash for the 250GB since most of my budget went on the 780 Ti, even though I found it at a reduced price. £500/$840.

I am using a Gelid Tranquillo, primarily because of the size. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would be a better choice though. As for the Noctua, it is a very good cooler, but a bit a bit bulky ( like the Zalman I had started with ).
