I'm going to answer a few questions, because I know a lot of you will ask :)

1. Why am I selling it? Because I wanted to have a nvidia surround setup 2 months ago, but I never got around it, and I just said f-it. I tried it with 2 different monitors, and honestly, It was a pain to setup, and I didn't really like the idea of 3 monitors (Because a lot of the games don't support it native) And I upgraded it from a 770 from EVGA. Honestly, for 1080p gaming, the 770 was all I needed.

2. I'm from Canada, so things cost a bit more compared to America. So I got my card for almost 900$

3. Why not sell the 770 instead? Because I don't need the 780 ti, it's a good card, but again, the 780 ti costed me almost 900$! If I wanted, I can go buy another 770 and sli them and get better performance. The 770 itself handled all my games like BF4, crysis 3, etc etc on all full settings. I don't mind dropping some settings anyways.

Ok, that's over with, now to the question from me. I recently made a ad, and i was asking for 700$ for the card. The card is only 2 months old, and I haven't done anything to it, but game, and cleaning it from dust. I haven't overclocked it, and it works like a monster.

So I got 2 offers, but both of them are 600$ So, me trying to get some money, I asked for 650$. And they got back to me saying "Oh, the 770s in sli is 40% better, and people are selling it for 550$, and the 780 sells for 350-400$, how come you're overpricing it?!?!"

First off, the 780 ti is still pretty new, and the stores are selling it for 750-800$ (Depending on the coolers) and I paid over 800$ for this card. So What's the true resell value on the gtx 780 ti? Is 600$ really a good price for a used 780 ti?

I agree with about a $100 hit, for it being used. That's across the board typicall. Really sucks when its a $200 card, as its still about a $100 hit leaving only 50% initial value. At least with yours its still a $100 but off a very larger amount. Craigslist I don't see why theres any horror stories. Make sure its local and paid in cash. Its all in person, so if a sketchy person shows up just make sure you don't bring them inside your house. I've had several people ive driven 20 minuets or so to meet somewhere public halfway between us, and then they all of a sudden try to haggle even more and more and end up not getting it. But for every 20-30 sales of mine that happens like once. Small price to pay. yet even ebay, ive boughten new and...

Where are you trying to sell it at... if it's craigslist or the equivalent, then that's why nobody wants to pay a fair price for it.

in US dollars... that card costs $720 new and sells used with the box and manuals for $620ish.

hope that helps you

I'm selling it at kijiji, I have heard a lot of bad stories from craigslist. Again, so does kijiji.

kijiji is basically craigslist but owned by ebay.

There's bad stories about ANYTHING in this world... kids get abducted at amusement parks and yet we all still go.

Essentially, $100 off of the new price is fair if you have an original receipt and box

If I didn't just spend $2000 of laptop and another $2000 in hard drives I was really looking for that specific card (im more evga but no probs with asus). Im sure a card of that caliber might take a while to sell more than cheaper cards, but at $100 off a $700 card, especially NVidia vs amd (only because I worry buying used amd that could've been run 24/7 for cryptomining), id take that deal anyday. Im sure others that know computers and such would as well.

I have found a few sellers, a lot of them were a pain in the ass talk to with. 1 guy had a fuss about taking a 5 min bus ride to my location, and he wanted me to come over there.
And everyone asked for 600$, of course. So I decided I'll put the ad up again, and see if i'll get new buyers. And drop the price to 650$
