I'm planning to move my Hitachi HDS721050CLA362 ATA Device hard drive to this motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-H87M-D3H H87 Chipset, in the CoolerMaster Elite 311 case. Excuse any ignorance on my part, I'm an idiot when it comes to the technical aspects of PC's and what fits what, but will this transfer be possible? Can I have 2 hard drives or does it not work like that?

Solution
well, in all the case i have seen, it fits more than 1 hdd. even small cases can acommodate more than one. hdd sizes are standard,
see here http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/elite-311/ there are several slots in the lower right (2nd picture, the one with the side open)

so yes it will be no problem. motherboards can also use multiple drives
