Newly built PC turns on for 3 seconds then turns off.

Here are the parts:
Intel i5 4670k
Asus B85M-G
8gb G. Skill Sniper ram
Geforce GTX 750 ti 2gb gddr5
WD 1TB
Corsair Cx430


So this is my first ever pc build. Just like the title says, pc turns on then turns off after a few seconds.
Please someone help.

Did you use the motherboard stand off before you installed your motherboard if so then I'll say it's your power supply if you could try using another power supply or test that one in another rig.

Ye the standoffs are all installed correctly.
What i did notice was, when i uninstalled the ram, the computer would turn on perfectly and stay on for as along as i want. But when i installed it again, it turns off after 3 seconds. What does that mean, is the RAM messed up or does the mobo just not support it?

Try using one ram stick at a time then boot up and see what happens if a ram stick is bad this will tell you

I bought a new psu and a new stick of 8gb of ram, and still it does the same thing.

I only have one stick of ram .
I have tried everything and the same thing happen, just shuts off after a few seconds.

Hmm. Question, how much watts is your new PSU? In fact, give me the exact brand and model, so I can do some research on it. Also give me the brand and model of your motherboard.
