Purchased a new motherboard, CPU and added more ram, and my computer is actually running slower, what is going wrong?

I bought the Asus A88XM-PLUS, and the AMD A-SERIES A10 7850K CPU 3.70Ghz and in total have 12GB of DDR3 ram.

I had many issues once putting all the hardware together, for example I never upgraded my GPU so my drivers were getting confused with each other, I managed to eventually get around this however, I have installed all drivers for every other piece of hardware in the PC, as well as upgrading my BIOS.

My FPS in most games has dropped significantly, the only thing that has changed for the worse is I am using the basic CPU fan rather than the bigger and better one I had before.

If there is anything you'd like to know or any more information I'd be happy to share, as I am getting worse results for adding better hardware.

I have had many issues in getting to the stage I am currently at, all the help I can get is appreciated.

I'll be sure to give this a shot, however something else I have noticed is that my CPU is running at about 30/40% on WoW whereas before it was never that high, this leaves my CPU being used at around 70% everytime I play WoW, I haven't tried another game, again.. I will be sure to give that a shot.

It was already set on the PCIE slot!

again, what ram do you have......... link both, don't use drop box.

secondly, if you run 2 different types of ram the ram will revert to the slowest running.

if you're running an apu you should be running the fastest ram possible ( 2133 -ish ) whatever the fastest ram is that you have, that's what should be in your machine.

reset cmos before you do anything else.
