1-2 sec freeze in all games?

Hey guys,

This has been happening for about a month or so now. While I'm playing any game I get 1-2 sec freeze then goes back to normal, this happens once every few minutes.

My spec is:

Intel 4770k
Nvidia 760
16GB RAM
Win 7 64

Installed HWMonitor and temps are fine 36-43. I've updated graphics drivers. I've never had this issue before. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this? it's becoming a problem while playing FPS games then all of a sudden freezing =\.

Any other info you need just ask guys.

Thank you.

Anything in Event Viewer ?

Run Furmark to put a good load on ya GFX card and see if it happens and at what temps.

Could be failing hard drive. I agree with JackNaylorPE. Check your event viewer under system and look for disk or ntfs errors.

Checked Event Viewer and under "Error" it says there's been 3 Disc errors in the past 7 days.

Just had a search and someone said it was a hard drive issue so I re-installed CS: GO onto my SSD and sadly the freezing is still there :( . Any advice would be really appreciated guys.

Thank you.
