Intel i5 3740 with nvidia 210 >runs all game laggy

hello everyone,
i have intel i5 3470 with 4 gb ram and i have installed nvidia 210 graphics on my desktop.Although my computer runs every games very laggy and takes fps about 10-12 only why????? anybody can u help plz!!

use the integrated graphics on your CPU... nvidia 210 is very very low end and worse than the integrated.

The GPU was very weak when it came out...in 2009. That's the problem.

If your power supply is at least 300w, swap out that pitiful GPU for a GTX 750ti.

the games you play must need much more graphical power then Integrated graphics and the 210!

Just because you have an i5, you can't rely on that to get good FPS when in games it goes GPU>CPU>RAM, GOU is the most important part, if you have a good GPU and weak GPU, your going to get lag no matter what.

What game are you trying to play using the Geforce 210? The Architecture of that GPU is quite old even compared to a 8800GT

Like everyone else has said, the GT 210 is old, weak and can't handle games (unless they're old or graphically-simple ones). Having a good processor doesn't guarantee good performance, you need a balance of components that work well together. Imagine a racing car that's been fitted with bicycle wheels and you get the idea.

There could be a hundred reasons why your friend's games work. Without knowing the spec of his computer and what games he's playing, no-one will be able to give you a definitive answer.

If you lower the in-game resolution and turn off all the advanced graphical settings, that will help performance, but not necessarily eliminate lag. What you really need to do is upgrade the GT 210 and get another 4GB RAM, making 8GB in total.

Throw away that filthy miserable gt210 and get a gt640 gddr5 1gb for much better gaming performance.

and yeah without knowing your exact specs including PSU and his specs and games and settings being played at, we can't give you a definite answer. Save up money for a gtx750ti

may play on different settings and may also have lower resolutions.

Both the 210 and IGPU's are terrible, you won't get satisfactory gaming experiences with any of those.
