Hello all,
I'm highly debating SLI'ing my EVGA GTX 770 SC right now, however I think the 800 series is coming out later this year. However, there have been rumors of the 800 series being delayed to next year. What do you guys think?

i saw some people asking today if the 800 series is coming in june as they read a 'rumor' somewhere it was just around the corner. lol
rumors change daily... i'd say it's likely to be late fall... october/november is my guess.

what's your monitor situation? if single 1080p/60hz, 770 sli doesn't add much value, a single card typically handles that in most games.

i have 770 SLI, but i'm running a 1440p / 120hz monitor. so they're running 99% virtually all the time pumping on max settings

I have one 1080p 60hz monitor (24in) and another 720p 60hz monitor (15in). Kinda weird how I do it, but it was just a spare lying around. I can max out most of my games pretty well but I'd like to get more frames in Arma 3 and Dayz.
Also if I did SLI id be paying around 500 bucks since I'm picking up another PSU that can handle it.

The 880 is supposedly to have unified memory architecture, so I'm holding out. Memory efficiency is a must when dealing with texture intensive computing or high res gaming at a decent speed.
