Hi there,

I would like to know if this combo will bottleneck each other?

And if they do, would you care to explain how you came to this conclusion?

System Specs:

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition @ 3.8Ghz [cooled by Corsair H80i]
8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz
XFX R9 280X DD

No bottleneck. You will be fine. You actually have a good balanced machine with the combo.
The 1100T is still a good cpu and clocked at 3.8 makes it even better for gaming. Most games are much more GPU bound these days.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would you care to tell me how do you know if certain CPU will bottleneck certain GPU? or vice-versa? aside from the obvious.. if I had an Athlon CPU I know that it would be a Bottleneck to this GPU..
