any links or recommendations for good case lighting, I would also like to know how the LED's are actually powered in the case, it all ways puzzled me. Also, I would like to know any good RGB LED's for mood lighting behind my desk

Look up the NZXT Hue for internal case lighting.
External lighting, I think Antec make some USB powered LED strips, though there are probably plenty of kits for that kind of thing.
