Computer Lags on everything.

So my computer isn't bad, I dont think atleast. Everything was fine until about a few months ago where it lags on EVERYTHING. from WoW to flash games.

First thing to do is to give it a good cleaning. Heat can cause that. the next thing is to use www.CCleaner.com and do some cleaning of junk files.they can slow things down. It may be www.piriform.com as well. Use www.Malwarebytes.org ( the free version ) and update and run a full scan for any malware.

Begin by checking if the lag exists in safe mode. If so check for viruses, test memory and HDD (do long tests (non-destructive for the hdd))

I've made sure its clean and Ive used every cleaner on the internet I think haha, I've done malware before but I'll give it another go. Any other suggestions?
