GPU stuck a lower core clock and memory clock

My radeon 7770 is stuck at 300mhz core clock and 150mhz memory clock any idea how to resolve this?

thats probably when it's idle as it downclocks when it's sitting there. under load of a game, it should ramp up.

run something like openhardwaremonitor or hwinfo64 and it should show the gpu stats, play a game and you should see your core clock go up in the MAX column.

i checked the openhardware monitor and it reads that my max values for core and memory clocks are 300 mhz and 150mhz is that normal?
