Can ddr2 builds be good for recording and video editing and gaming?

My build initially was going to go for DDR3, but due to..well... Cuts in income, my friend offered to give me his spare mobo and agreed to help me build a DDR2 rig, I have seen vids where bf4 can be played on ultra with 50 fps 1080p, with a ddr2 build, but I was also going to go in as a youtuber and record myself playing games and video editing, but idk if this will be good enough for that... Is it good enough?

On another note, Idk myself what the mobo is, but he says that it holds max 16gb and it's amd mobo.

Solution
Just start a new thread with your budget and tell them that you understand that it won't be perfect. Most people here have really good budget builds.

Not if the mobo supports DDR3 RAM or if you are paying retail for the DDR2 RAM.
