How to use an anti-static wristband if you don't have any unpainted surfaces?

If your PSU is fitted in the case and the wrist band has a crocodile clip then you can turn the switch on the back of your power supply to off,then plug it into the power,then unscrew one of the power supply mounting screws a few turns and clip the crocodile clip onto the head of the screw.
The screw threads will not be painted.
