Im building my first gaming desktop, Im looking to spend around $800-$1000 on this build. Im wondering where I should focus on the parts that you really should skimp out on? any recommendations on this build. I know an i7 is fairly costly. Im just planning on building a computer so I can get off this laptop and in the future replace the parts from this build to make a better machine. So this is pretty much gonna be a build to kinda get me started for a little while.
