Hi Everyone, i have a little conundrum that i need some advise about. i am building a new set-up using the Corsair Obsidian 900D case. I can add up to 15 case fans at one time. the problem i am having is i want high airflow for the cooling but i want to add water cooling at a later date. how much later i do not know. i know that i can get AF120 fans for high airflow but i would be wasting my money when i integrate rads as then i would need to get SP120 fans.

My question is could i install the SP120 fans first to give some airflow and then integrate the rads later or would that be a waste of time until i do integrate them.

Solution
I would deck the case out in the fans I plan to use when I make the jump to liquid cooling. So for you, I'd buy the SP120 fans and use them for air cooling instead of buying some AF120s just to use for now. The SPs will still do the job just fine.
