I am working on a new build, and I would like to use a GTX 780 in my system. I am also working with a strict $1500 budget for my system. Right now, without a GPU, my build is approx. $1100. Since 780s are around $500, I need help lowering $100 or so off the price without loosing performance. I would prefer the build to be easily upgradable down the road. I may overclock (no need to include the cooler at the current time), I will do 2-way SLI in the future, I will have a multi-monitor setup down the road (no need to have more than 1 monitor at the moment), and I would also prefer to us the Scout 2 Advance case. The stores must be Newegg, Amazon, and Microcenter.
The Extreme4 board comes $40 off if I buy the 4670k from microcenter.

congrats on your future build. Here are a few suggestions

1. You have no CPU cooler (only stock) if you're going to overlock this build you should have something else besides what came with the CPU (Try the Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212 for <$30)

2. $45 more dollars in fans for a $110 case? Try the following http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-r4-black-pearl has 2 great fans and is really quiet and plenty of room to grow (you can find it at some places for <$90)

3. The PSU, you can find a better Bronze/Silver manufacturer like Seasonic/XFX (and it would cost <$90 if you find a good special)

3. 7.1 Headset? I don't believe in those (but other users can give your gauge on those) might as well get a...

Get an AMD Radeon R9 280X instead, its only $300 and its performance is a little bit close to the GTX 780.

If you are really want to stick to the GTX 780, then get an AMD CPU and Motherboard.

An AMD FX 8350 costs only $200 and if you want to get a good AM3+ motherboard, then that would be $130 for the motherboard.

You ca save about $90 going with a cheaper case and not buying all those extra case fans. I might go with a BitFenix Merc Alpha or Silverstone PS10B.

Rosewill also makes a gaming keyboard that'll save you about $35

This 650W Rosewill Capstone is a better PSU, and will save $10: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182071
If you switch to this Rosewill Blackhawk case for $96 shipped, you'll get higher quality than CM (IMHO), plus five included fans, so you won't need to buy four more. That saves another $44.
Do you need a wireless adapter at all? If you do, keep the one you've got (cheap ones are bad performers), but if not, there's $33; getting close to your goal...

3. 7.1 Headset? I don't believe in those (but other users can give your gauge on those) might as well get a regular GAming heaset for <$50

4. If you're thinking of going the wireless route, try the Asus Z87-PRO (i own one) it has bluetooth and wifi adapter build in (and most likely would save yourself $15-20) instead of that rosewill wifi adapter.

5. Last but not least, you should only get the GTX 780 if you're milking the heck out of it. (like Dual Monitors and stuff). If you are not? then might as well downgrade to the GTX 770 which is a great card none the less (and will run a large selection of the latest games smoothly)

Best Luck and let us know if you need anythign else.
