Moving SSD to another laptop but it's not reading and doing repairs

I tried putting my SSD with an OS from anotehr computer into my current laptop because it has more storage, but it's not reading it and doing repairs and stuff. I assume moving SSD's from one computer to the other doesn't work...unless I plugged it into the wrong sata cable?

The operating system is OEM and can only be used on the computer it was originall installed on. That is probably your problem.

If you are wanting to BOOT from that drive it's not going to work because you installed Windows on another PC and now the drivers are all wrong for the new PC.
