I have a XFX 7850 2GB of RAM, but the internet doesn't seem to have it in stock anymore. I want to crossfire, and this card is the closest thing to it. I know it will work, but how will performance be? They have the same amount of RAM and are basically the same card as far as I know.

This link pretty much explains it all. Crossfiring the two would make the 7870 down clock and essentially lower performance to cope with the slower hardware.

As Mattyice47 said, your 7870 would perform like a 7850 that you have and run in crossfire.
