Main Problem: Computer getting restarted randomly, automatically, at random times and at after random passages of time.
Desktop Config :
Processor: i5 4670
Cabinet: Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Mid Tower
GPU: Asus AMD/ATI HD 6670
SMPS: Corsair SMPS VS 550W
RAM : Corsair vengenance 2x 4gb ram 1600 mhz
Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H
Hard Disks :
1)Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST1000DM003)
2)Seagate Barracuda 1/2 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
Things i have tried:-
--Used both hard disks separately for OS(7-premium, 7 Basic, 8.1 Professional) and got the same result so i think its not a problem of hard disk or OS.
--Updated Bios and removed the Button battery of Mother board and put it again after 2 minutes(but have not replaced the battery yet)
--Used Core temp and speed fan to monitor the temperature of the processor and graphic card while the system runs.
Temp of CPU seldom go beyond 50*C. Temp of GPU seldom go beyond 60*C.
Sill Changed the thermal paste of Processor and GPU heat sink. and also cleaned Processor and Graphics card fans and whole Motherboard with cloth.
---But also I have never seen my system getting restarted until the windows boots
I fear its a problem of motherboard or smps, but how to identify it.
PS- i have a normal UPS and i have changed it with another UPS to rule the problem of UPS out.
Please give some methods/reasons to how to tackle this problem.
Update 1) My computer is not getting started as if you press the button on windows to restart. It turns of like a light bulb in a flick and then restarts.
