What games are you playing and what would be your budget? We can recommend a video card from there.

The graphics chip mounted on Intel processors are meant to do the basic (visual)tasks like watching movies and to play 2D and normal 3D games and of course, for web browsing. They are not made to play graphics intensive games like the ones you've mentioned. Tell us your budget range, we can suggest a good discrete GPU.

Why do people always recommend the 750 Ti? It is a good GPU but it is way overpriced for it's performance. For $145 you can get a higher performing GPU. For $149 you can get the R7 265 that has much more power , Yes it uses a little more watts but it still only needs one six pin PCIe plug, So you can use a 400 watt PSU with it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127790&cm_re=R7_265-_-14-127-790-_-Product
And here is a example of the performance of the R7 265 Vs The GTX 750 Ti. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1127 You can clearly see the huge performance difference of the two cards.

Yes, the R7-265 is superior to the GTX 750 Ti in most games. But most 750 Ti's don't require a 6 pin aux power cable and can safely run on most OEM 300W PSUs. That is its major claim to fame. Until we know the OP's PSU make/model, I would recommend nothing more than the 750 Ti.

+1

The 750 ti doesnt need the 6pin connector, and doesnt benefit from it even when some have it.

That is the dumbest response ever. First of all Just because it is possible to use a 750 Ti with a 300watt PSU does not make the 750 Ti in anyway superior or a better choice. And second anyone with a modern rig used for gaming should have more than a 300watt PSU, The power supply is the most important part of a pc. I understand money can be hard to come by. But if you can spend money on a GPU you can spend to replace a cheap underpowered PSU. Nobody should ever recommend a GPU that has much lower performance over a GPU priced the same that can perform almost double just because of the wattage it pulls. That is insane.

I disagree. If someone has an OEM system with a 300w PSU and just wants to upgrade the graphics performance on a budget the 750 Ti is great - Decent performance in 1080p without needing to spending much more on a new PSU.
