BIOS password / Overheating

I've been working on a Dell Inspiron mini 1012 that overheats..CPU cooking at about 80c and was since I don't see any dust any where if 1st anybody knew any settings to change in BIOS...to cool it down and 2nd if so how do you crack the BIOS password to get to it.

For one you do not need to crack the BIOS password. You will have to call or chat in as it is a laptop to get it reset properly. You normally have to verify the name on the account. If not then good for you. If so and you do not know it they will send you to a site to put in for the ownership transfer. It may or may not go through depending on the information provided. As for settings in the BIOS I do not know off hand for that model, but most likely the fan needs cleaned out and possible thermal paste/pad replaced. Hope this helps you towards fixing your issue.
