Kingston or Corsair DDR3 1866?

Hey guys, RAM's are the last piece I need for my new build and I need some advice. I need 1866Mhz 8GB, can be 2x4GB. So should I get Kingston or Corsair brand and which ones would you recommend? I'm using FX-8320 and Asus M5A99X MOBO. Thank you!

If their timings are the same, then get the cheapest. They are both good brands.

The Corsair is: 1866MHz, 9-10-9-27, 1.5V

Kingston is: 1866MHz, 9-11-9 1.65V

Corsair is a little tighter timings and only 1.5V which is good compared to the 1.65V of the Kingston kit.

Get the Corsair kit.

I'd go with the Corsair sticks, tested is the spec freq it's advertised at SPD is the base default for the sticks - normally 1333 these days

Go in BIOS an enable XMP. The BIOS will probably set up everything at advertised speeds. Otherwise the memory might just run at 1333MHz or?

You are most likely OK when it comes to static electricity. But if concerned, touch the case before you do anything. This should get rid of any static elec that you might have.
