I am building a new gaming rig but I am having a hard time choosing a video card. In my country, the card prices are as follows: (converted to US DOLLARS)
MSI GTX 780 ti- 798
Sapphire tri-x r9-290- 486
Sapphire tri-x r9-290x- 640

I also want your input if I should get the i5-4670k or i7-4770k (I will be overclocking).
Price as follows:
i7- 355
i5- 251

I would want to max out crysis 3 and other games on 1080p for the next 3-4 years. My budget is 1100 or more if you guys would prefer the i7 and 780 ti setup (for the processor and video card only), please do consider that I would want prices lower than what my budget is. I was also thinking about r9 290 but it seems that it would be an overkill and I would need a better psu( I would like to hear your thoughts about this also).
Specs:
MB: ASUS maximus vi hero v87
PSU: Corsair RM Series RM850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular PSU or
Corsair RM Series RM1000 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular PSU (the price difference is $28)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB Quad 1600 CL9 ( should I get the dual or Quad? Dual is more expensive by $45)
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 240M Hybrid CPU Cooler ( its cheaper than h100i and 140xl by $15 here, but I would change if the others are better)
Case: undecided
SSD: undecided (probably Crucial M550 128GB Sata (CT128M550SSD1) or the Samsung 120gb)

btw: I would like to have more than 60fps average for crysis 3 max just for the sake of it

Sorry for the long post

First of all, for 1080P you would want the Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290. The vapor model runs quieter, cooler, and faster than the TRI-X.

Yes, I would get the 4770K since games are starting to use the hyperthreading now. If you can wait until next month, get the Intel 4970K. It will overclock to 5GHz and beyond. You will need the VII Hero board though. 850W is plenty for a single graphics card. Dual or Quad RAM makes no difference in speed so just get the cheaper.

if it's just gaming then get the i5 but a better cheaper choice if it is just gaming getting an amd processor if the price is actually 640usd for the r9 290x then get the r9 290x
