So I bought a new RAMs and I don't know in what Mhz they are running now. How do I find out? And how can I set them to Mhz I want, what do I need to do?

My CPU and motherboard supports 1600Mhz and 1333Mhz. My RAMs are also both 1600Mhz. I want them to run at 1600Mhz obviously but I don't know if they do now and how to make it if it doesn't. Help please.

no m8 , the bios is contained within a chip on the motherboard , it is what controls all of you motherboard functions.
shutdown your pc and as soon as you restart your computer keep tapping the delete key and this should take you into the bios
you will see a tab up top called OC tweaker click on that to open another menu , then scroll down to where you see Dram timing configuration
you will see below that , load xmp setting
when you have loaded a profile press f10 for save and exit and you should be good to go at 1600mhz
Hi goblin329
go into your bios and enable the xmp settings , this will enable the bios to set the profile within the ram and configuring your bios to run the memory at 1600mhz
consult your motherboard manual or let me know what motherboard are you using and i will try to find the appropriate documentation for you
