Hi there, I'm wanting to build a PC primarily for gaming in the lounge and am thinking about putting in my existing components in and then building from there.

I have a Gigabyte GTX 770 and 4 gigs of ram that I can use towards the rig but would need the rest of the components to finish the build. My graphics card is fairly decent so I'm hoping that the rest of the build will be able to come in cheaper. I've seen some videos online of people trying to build a PC to match a next gen console for roughly the same price but thought I'd ask the community their thoughts on what would help make this a decent build.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Sam

This comes to a total of £362.88 and paired with that gtx 770 you will be playing games with ease for the next few years and its under the price of an xbox one on amazon.
i have sacrificed the disk drive as you can install windows via a usb nowerdays and if you use steam or origin you wont need to install games via disk.

The power supply can be changed out if you want but i think it will be fine for this build never the less this is just an idea for a build to get you on track

Preferably budget for the remaining components would be under £300. Since I have the card already and 4gb of Ram which as you guess correctly is DDR3. I can get a student license of windows too so no problem there.

I know its a tight budget but I've already got a fairly expensive build which I plan to upgrade as it is and I purely want this machine to be for use in the lounge now steam has got family sharing added.
