Hello,

I'm having BSOD with "video TDR failure Nvlddmkm.sys". I have a GTX 660. Whenever I'm playing BF4 or PlanetSide2, after 15 min or less, it freezes and crashes giving me the BSOD.
I don't have any devices conflicts.

I ran SFC.exe and the report said that there are some issues but that couldn't fix them.

I ran Furmark and another BSOD this time with DPC WatchDog Violation.

I'm completely lost and don't know what could be the issue.

It's ONLY when I'm playing video games, ie heavy load.

I'm seeking for advices and help. Thanks.

Hi thanks for the reply. I didn't run tests on RAM and weirdly I played for an hour on BF4 last night without having any crash. Don't know what is going on but I'll run a memtest and post the results as soon as I can.

Be sure to run a full pass on individual sticks in the DIMM slot the MB manual states should be used for single sticks of RAM. That way you'll know which stick is bad, if indeed one is.

But there are many other issues that can cause BSODs. Sometimes it is software conflicts. Run CCleaner and have it do the Clean and Registry portions both. That will resolve most registry errors and clean up resource wasting crap and junk files. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

SO I ran 3 passes with no errors. somehow, I don't think there are issues with RAM since I'm playing BF4 with no issues for an hour lately. Don't know what exactly is happening. Anyways thanks for the help dude.
