hi, just 5 days ago i bought lenovo y410p and i am updating the nvidia driver the new one 335.23
(gt 755m).. after i updated it ,when iam about to play some games (e.g metal gear, dota2) it when laggy with battery ..the fps when drop significant

but when i try to play that games with charging, it works fines with me, no lagging, nice fps...

although i have configure the performance with high performance ..
and try to run it high performance with nvidia card nothing change (with battery)

the question is :

is it because i updated the new driver ??
why when playing the games, with charging the fps works fine ?!
if i downgrade it which version works fine ? because i have downgrade it, with other version (forgot the default version)

what should i do, ?
i want to play some games with nice fps without charging

Solution
High performance graphics takes extra power.
Plugged in, that is not an issue.
Under battery, you will run out quickly.
The default will likely to be to use the integrated graphics under battery power.

In the nvidia control panel, there will be an option to select integrated or discrete adapters.
The default will be auto select which will probably select integrated under battery to save power.
You should be able to select discrete always.
