Hello, I just got my mew pc. But there is no sound at all nor windows nor youtube etc... On the papers that came with the pc says that the sound card drivers are not installed, which means I have to install them. But I Have no clue how to install them.
could someone explain me how to install them? Also if you need more information pls tell me.
btw, Im using a monitor.

Solution
When you installed the drivers from the motherboard DVD for sound, that should have done it.

If you know your motherboard make/model, I'd go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest/updated drivers from them and try that.

Failing that, I'd contact the company that put it together for you and see what they have to say.

I'd also go into your device manager and see if anything has a warning for not being installed properly.
control panel -> hardware and sound -> devices and printers -> device manager
The sound driver will come in the form of an executable file (.exe) usually. You'll find it most likely by going to the manufacturer's website support page, or on a DVD/CD that came with the computer. If you can't find it, post the make/model of your computer and we may be able to help you find it.

Good luck!

hi jimthenagual, there was a dvd that came with the monitor and also one from the motherboard (I think its the one from the motherboard but I am not sure about that). On the dvd from the motherboard says *chipsets / serial-ATA / RAID Network / Audio drivers *Norton Internet security *Adobe Acrobat reader and *EasyTune. I installed all the drivers, including the audio ones but didnt seem to give me sound after I rebooted my pc.
On top of the dvd from my monitor; E2470WHE E2470SWDA (one of them is my monitor) User Guide, Monitor Driver, i-Menu Softzare, e=saver software, screen+ software. I ran something were I had to copy the files from my dvd to my pc or something (Im not sure what I did there, I just followed a tutorial from the tutorial on my dvd. Of course I dont know if I did it correctly.
this is my pc build;
