I would recommend this:
CPU: http://ark.intel.com/products/75048/ its overclockable and has very good performance for gaming.
Motherboard: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87PRO/
RAM: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Modules-1600MHz-KHX1600C10D3B1K2-16G/dp/B007TTEHMW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400084237&sr=8-1
PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Enthusiast-Watt-Bronze-TX750/dp/B004MYFODI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1400084305&sr=1-1 this one has very good efficiency under stress and has 750 watts of power to add more cards or other items in the future.
Hard drive: I would recommend having a SSD for the boot drive to increase boot time and game loading times for programs and have a normal Hard drive for storage.

CD drive: you could either have a standard CD drive for installing the OS http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Serial-ATA-Internal-Optical-DRW-24B1ST/dp/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1400084502&sr=1-1 or you could have a more expensive CD drive like this: http://www.amazon.com/Asus-DVD-ROM-Internal-Blu-Ray-BC-12B1ST/dp/B004SUO068/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1400084450&sr=1-1 it plays bluerays e.t.c
Hope this helps!
