How much Ram can this mobo hold?

Solution
The reasons for the Ram slots being different colours is that if you are installing only 2 sticks of RAM then they need to be in the same colour slot eg. both in the blue colour or both in the white colour.

Also is that the exact same RAM as you already have in the board? Using different types can often cause errors/it not working at all. If it is the same type then that board supports up to 32GB so as long as you don't exceed that it should work.

Solution
The different colored slots are different channels - for dual channel memory. Adding another 8GB of ram shouldn't slow your system any, but you may not get much of an increase.

Your system can handle 32GB of memory - according to the link you provided.

What do you use your system for?
