Hello everyone.
I am currently looking at upgrading my RAM in my PC from 4Gb to 12Gb.
Parts that matter:
4Gb 1333Mhz RAM
My CPU is the Intel Pentium G2030 3.0Ghz which can be used with up to 32Gb RAM.
My MOBO is the Asrock H61M that can be used with up to 12Gb of RAM.
I was wondering if the motherboard would work better with two identical sticks of 4Gb RAM or if getting an 8Gb stick to make 12Gb in total would affect the PC in any way. The motherboard is dual channeled and I have heard that having identical sticks may be a wiser option.
I am a heavy gamer and 4Gb works well enough for me but would like to upgrade either way.
Please Advise .
Much Appreciated.
