Gaming on wifi is not idea, but doable.

Everything looks good, but I would get a 2gb gtx770 for $80 less. You will get identical performance at 1080p.

The PSU is a bit overkill and I would recommend 650w.

Ther eis no way to predice how long it will last, bu it should give good settings in games for quite a while (years).

Just to note; although the R9 280X is currently the better deal for the price, it will take more power, will run a bit worse, and does not support PhysX. It's not a lossless switch.

GTX 770 does not support Mantle ... we can go on and on about proprietary crap. R9 280x consumes 50w more than 770 @ full load. But for $80 less why shouldnt he go for better performance? Here is a comparison:

One card does not really outperform the other. The difference is not noticeable at all in 90% of games. Of course there will always be games where the 770 is ALOT better and some where the 280x is ALOT better. This is normal. Buy you cannot say one is better than the other. They are comparable.

Also, it is NOT $80 less. Come on. Not including mail in rebates, you can get a 280x for $289 and a 770 for $299. The price is MUCH closer than you are are making it seem. I like the 280x and the 770 as equals, but if there is only $10 difference, I would get the 770 due to less heat and much less power usage.
