Hey, i just want to start off saying im am new here but i am loving this web site..
i just finished building my first rig a couple weeks ago and i was worrying about a heat problem.

I bought an aftermarket CPU fan and heat sink : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1683...

and when i am on idle me cpu is around 11-20 Celsius which i consider normal. But while running Battlefield 4 yesterday i was monitoring my temp (using Core temp) and my temperature went up to 64 Celsius. When i quit, after 5 minutes it was back to normal. I have 5 fans, 2 in and 3 out. I was wondering if all of this was normal since i have seen the max temp was 58 Celsius. Thank you for your Responses!

The board doesn't have a great thermal design and the cooler is below average.

How can your CPU idle at 11'C? Is your room 11'C?

Read this carefully.
An Understanding of Temperature on AMD CPUs and APUs
Does HWMonitor say your CPU/APU temp is 70C when idling but your CPU socket feels cool to the touch? Is Core Temp only reading 10C but it's not possible because your room is 28C? The reason is that these and other 3rd party programs are not... See full content

It's a decent cooler , but can't cure all the issues of the budget board.

when under ambient temps the the reading is always wrong but your cpu is not at 11c and 64 while high is still ok but most people try to stay under 62 on the core
