Hi,
I have looked on the web and cannot find an answer or any real mention anywhere, so here we go.

Is seems every other time I boot up my computer my motherboard bios display is slightly too big for the screen. Once my graphics card kicks in on the log on screen though the aspect is fine (1920x1080). My computer is a fairly new build. Just note that this doesn't happen EVERY time, just pretty much every other time.

Specs- Display: Panasonic 24" Full HD TV (1080p)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Formula
CPU: Intel i7 4770k 3.5ghz quad
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB LP
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Classified
PSU: Corsair RM 650
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1tb
(Nothing is overclocked)

All my drivers are up to date as far as I know.

Hope someone can help. Cheers.

Solution
Right after going through everything I think I've solved it! Turns out that my TV's 'auto' aspect ratio (of all things) was the cause. For some reason It was now and again causing the aspect ratio to change when my computer is booting up, and then 'auto' changing back when my log screen loaded up. That's why I was only happening to my bios screen.

I found this out by going into my TV settings and changing the aspect ratio manually to 16:9. Now It doesn't happen. :D

Thanks anyway for putting in the effort to reply Kekoh! :)

Just to clarify, in your first post you said drivers are up to date. Did you also mean you manually flashed your BIOS to the latest? People don't usually lump BIOS updates into the "drivers" category.

As in graphics card drivers and BIOS as well. Basically everything is up to date version wise.

Try taking the GPU out and plugging your monitor directly into the onboard graphics. This will at least narrow the problem down to the Mobo or Video card.

It could be a problem with the mobo I suppose. But if it doesn't happen every time and you can still use it, I wouldn't worry too much. Let's say it is a problem with the mobo, do you really want to wait a few weeks while it gets sent it for RMA?
