So i've tried to install windows 7 pro on my pc, on a fresh hard drive. My pc is more than capable to run it. When I got to the last stage of installing, the completing installation I have the screen black out, it's been like this for a while, even like this as I type this. The optical drive is still running/spinning the disk. Is this an issue? Should I wait or restart my pc?

You might need to start the install over.

You can encounter a hang at that part for a couple different things. One of which is the HDD Mode(AHCI/IDE/ATA/RAID). If your controller selection in BIOS is set to RAID or AHCI, try switching it to IDE or ATA and see if that fixes it.

when I turn on the comp I have the win 7 logo then blackout, so after changing those settings in bios should I do advanced install then format the disk or do upgrade? it is already set to IDE too

i'm getting a system partition and the other one is a 100mb one with no type name for it and cant be formatted, nor deleted
