Hi, I am looking for a new motherboard that would be compatible with my system, recently my gigabyte ga-m68mt-s2 fryed out and I need to get a new one. Is there any ones currently on the market that I could just put in my system and it work quickly? Or would I need to reformat and get a whole new because I can't find anywhere reliable to buy a copy of my old one, I can post more specs if you need. But I really need help, thanks!

how much are you willing to pay for your new motherboard? Also, will you use onboard video or do you have your own video card. One last thing. will you use usb 3.0 or usb 2.0?

ok so if your power supply supports an 8-pin CPU power connector you can go with MSI 970A-G46: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130637
if not go with ASUS M5A78L-M: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131942
both are in your budget and has both usb 2.0 and 3.0 SATA 6gbps. Though the Asus has onboard graphics and is cheaper. Both only have one ps/2 port so your mouse or keyboard should be usb.
You still make the final decision though.
