The minimal requirements is at least a GeForce GTX 460/AMD Radeon HD 5770. If you want to avoid SLI the best solution is to just get the most powerful single card you can afford.

AMD R9 290
AMD R9 290x

or

Nvidia GTX 780
Nvidia GTX 780ti

If you're planning to do SLi. I would recommend with (2) GeForce GTX 760. And the average fps you'll get an ultra with an 770 will be 40-50FPS.

770 is good but you could have also gone for an ATI R9 280x according to your budget, It delivers so much more power and performance in gaming and ya it will easily run Watchdogs in ultra,BUT your processor must not bottleneck the GPU

GTX 770 or Radeon R9 280X will run the game at 60 fps at 1080 but since your resolution is 1280x1024, R9 270X will be enough.

I currently have I5 4570 and 8 gb ram
Gtx 770 WF3 seems like a better choice because Ubisoft work with Nvidia to make exsclusive Graphics only to her products... and i heard its better than 280x

That resolution will cause you to have higher frame rates at higher settings because it isnt HD. Just throwing that out there.

I am saying that the card will be able to run at a lot higher settings at that resolution compared to an HD resolution because it is literally less pixels the GPU has to work with. Not to mention being in that resolution will decrease the quality of the video on-screen by quite a bit. Basically, the card will run it, but it wont look as high of quality.

Yeah, I'm sure. Most of the system requirements announced by the developers are normally for 1920x1080 resolution. Since your resolution is considerably lower than 1080, I would say R9 270X will be enough.

dammnnn I thought the res was higher for some reason so a 270x or 760 will be more than enough and if you have a 770 thats even better you dont need a 780
