brand new install of windows 8.1 and BSOD comes up saying SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

i have had crashes multiple times recently and to others knowledge have been told to re-install windows deleting all files as i couldn't retrieve them for back up. but now i have re-installed windows 8.1 again it immediately comes up with bsod saying "system service exception" i have a very new ssd and all other components are only about 6 months old.

the components are:
intel 4770k with stock cooler
asus sabertooth z87 motherboard
8gb corsair vengeance ram
sandisk ultra plus 64gb ssd
corsair rm1000 psu(i know its overkill but i did have a gtx 780 with intentions to get a second)

Sounds like a driver issue, if your getting bsod right after install, you'll have to get drivers win 8.1 drivers for your peripherals and install those in safe mode. I had the same issues with a wifi card that work with win 8, but causes bsods in 8.1
