This is my first attempt in building a computer and i'm already planning on reusing my 1tb hard drive and my 4 sticks of kingston hyperX Blu ram (1600). Additionally i've already ordered my case and my mobo. I'm stuck with the issue with getting a apu such as a kaveri or richland.

Missing parts atm would be a cpu, gpu, and psu. Should i go for apu? my budget for both a cpu and gpu should be around $160

I'm mainly building this computer for media consumption, minecraft and starcraft. I know it's awfully tight on space with the case i already ordered, but it was a great deal for $50 bucks!

Thanks! (what i have currently)

its tough to pick a good CPU and GPU for that budget. so i picked a high A10 APU that should serve you well. the integrated graphics in the APU should allow you to play minecraft no doubt and starcraft at medium to high graphics easily
